What we collect

  • Website: This is a static website. We do not run our own analytics or set tracking cookies by default. TODO: update this section if you add analytics.
  • Purchases: When you subscribe, payment and customer data are processed by our payment provider, Polar. We receive the information needed to manage your subscription and issue your licence key (such as your email address). See Polar’s own privacy policy for how they process payment data.
  • Support: If you email us, we keep your message and contact details to respond.

Why we process it

To deliver and support NIRWizard, manage subscriptions and licence keys, and meet legal and accounting obligations in Norway.

Performance of a contract (providing the software you subscribed to), legal obligation (accounting/tax), and legitimate interest (responding to support requests). TODO: confirm.

Sharing

We share data only with providers needed to run the service — currently our payment provider (Polar) and our hosting provider. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and as required by Norwegian law (e.g. accounting records). TODO: state retention periods.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact post@askeengineering.no. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
